
Royal Alberta Museum Seniors’ Week Kick-Off

During Seniors’ Week, we recognize and celebrate the valuable contributions that seniors make to Alberta.
To kick off this celebration, we invite seniors to take over the museum on June 3 for special drop-in programming created especially for lifelong learners. Enjoy live music, dance performances and free access to our new exhibition Orcas: Our Shared Future.

11 am – Welcoming Event
Welcome speech – Meaghan Patterson, Executive Director, Royal Alberta Museum
Line Dance Performance by Dance4Fun from the Malaysian Singapore Social Association
Poetry Reading by Rick Rawson from the Africa Center’s Seniors Wellbeing and Engagement Team
11 am – 3 pm – Edmonton Heritage Council outreach table
12 – 1 pm – Performance and singalong by The North Edmonton Seniors Association Choralaires
