Seniors' Week Lunch 'n' Learns

These online discussions will include panels of notable older Edmontonians and thought leaders who will share their insights on what it means to build Age Friendly environments and methods for aging well. The Lunch ‘n’ Learns are intended for older Edmontonians, their friends and family members, and the organizations that serve them. Sessions include:
- Ways to Succeed in Aging in Place: June 7 | 12-1 P.M.
- Ageism: Upsides-Downsides: June 9 | 12-1 P.M.
- Building Connections in a Post-COVID World: June 11 | 12-1 P.M.
Getting Old Ain’t for Sissies!
South East Edmonton Seniors Association (SEESA)
$10/ticket (plus $1.25 booking fee)
SEESA’s Accidental Drama Club will present their 2021 Variety Show “Getting Old Ain’t for Sissies!” on Zoom. You will be able to see the show on SEESA’s YouTube channel during Senior’s Week which is from June 7 to 13. It will be shown Monday to Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. There will be a Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday matinee at 2:00 pm. Tickets are available at www.eventbrite.ca. RSVP is not required.

Celebrate Seniors' Week with powerful stories about growing older. THIRD ACTion Film Festival works to change the narrative on aging and create an age positive culture shift. The festival seeks to empower everyone to envision their best third act. Plays can be viewed online June 11th to 13th.
