Volunteer with ESCC

ESCC is committed  to collaborating with stakeholders to build an age-friendly Edmonton and support the well-being of seniors. If you have a passion to build networks, provide leadership, and communicate the value of organizations that support seniors, we hope you will join us.

Board of Directors

Serving on the ESCC Board of Directors is an opportunity to get involved in the broad issues of the seniors sector and to contribute to making Edmonton an age-friendly city.

We are seeking candidates with knowledge of human resources, finance and/or knowledge or experience in the spectrum of diversity which includes socio-economic situations, culture and language backgrounds, and/or connections within the seniors sector and levels of government.

We typically begin recruiting in January for positions that begin at our Annual General Meeting at the end of April. Nominations are accepted until the end of January and then interviews take place in February or March.

Our nominating committee will contact interested individuals and arrange a meeting to answer any questions they may have and to provide information about ESCC and our Board.

If you are interested in joining our Board of Directors, email our Executive Director at executivedirector@seniorscouncil.net
