Power of Advocacy in the Seniors Sector: Advocacy Sprint and Network Gathering

This free and interactive event focuses on harnessing the power of advocacy, in all its forms, to tackle challenges within the seniors sector.

Hear from our Action Hubs about issues facing the seniors sector and older adults; learn from our keynote speaker - Arlene Eaton-Erickson - about the different forms of advocacy; and then apply this knowledge during our Advocacy Sprint* targeting:

  • Ageism;
  • Valuing Senior Centres; and
  • Seniors' Food Security.

After, join us for refreshments and conversation at our Network Gathering.

* An "advocacy sprint" is a focused, short-term effort to raise awareness or achieve a specific advocacy goal.
