Sherlock Jr. tells the tale of a projectionist who longs to be a detective, and offers interesting insight into the history of showing films. Featuring in at #62 on the AFI’s 100 Years…100 Laughs funniest films list Sherlock Jr. is a delight to behold, it’s also one of the earliest examples of a film within a film.
